Leviat revolutionized the existing MOMENT Precast Shoe with the latest innovation of MPS-T Precast Shoe. The improved Precast Shoe has been reengineered for improved performance and features a sleek metal base plate that resists calculated loads.

The metal base plate of the MOMENT MPS-T Precast Shoe has a detachable compression bar and a tension bar. This innovative feature allows the precast shoe to be easily assembled and disassembled, reducing the amount of storage space necessary and simplifying site installation. This improves the rebar-to-baseplate connection quality, lowers welding costs, reduces the danger of poor welding quality, and improves site safety. Furthermore, this connection type allows for a more precise quality check.

COVID-19 has taken over the world in the most unexpected ways. Everyone all around the world is battling with this invisible enemy in their own ways. However, some proven steps that we may follow include staying at home, keep your distances and maintain your hygiene. Here are some examples of how you can maintain positive in order to make this challenging period a little lighter physically and emotionally.

1. Balance Social Media Consumption

Social media is the place to be among others. You are bound to receive updates on the pandemic locally or globally – but there is too much negativity surrounding it too. Try to balance out your social media intake by not taking your phone to bed or limit screen time – there’s an app for this too. 😉

2. Take Care Of Your Body

This is the biggest silver lining in this whole situation. We often neglect our self-care on a day-to-day basis due to our busy schedule. In this situation, we are free to redefine our work-life balance and reorganize all our pending workout routines restricted by traveling to and from office.

3. Connect With Others

We are all in this together believe it or not. Some of us are blessed to be stuck at home with friends and/or family but some are not. Check with your friends/family who is living alone. Initiate conversation or call in once in a while. It’s best to get and offer help where necessary.

4. Focus On Small Things

You might not realize this before, now you know small things can bring you happiness too. Don’t know where to start? You can start by asking yourself these few questions:

• What made you feel grateful?
• What praise and/or feedback did you receive?
• What experience gives you pleasure?

5. Build Resilience. Hard Times = Growth

This is the most common success factor every successful people will tell you – hard times will help you grow. This confusing time is difficult for everyone but almost always there’s a result in growth that shapes you to become a better colleague, friend, family or human being per se. You will always grow and this time it might be in an unexpected way.

6. Get Dreaming. Plan Your Next Adventure

Upon our recent Global Partnership Renewal with Samsung C&T Corporation on September 2019, Halfen Moment has been invited to visit Samsung’s office in Seoul, South Korea.

Led by Halfen Moment Singapore Managing Director, Gary Connah, the visit further promotes our new innovative building products for future collaboration in 2020. 

Over the years, Samsung C&T has successfully clinched many iconic projects; Biopolis Science Hub Phase 1, One Marina Boulevard, Harbourfront Twin Towers, Deep Tunnel Sewage System T-04, Changi East Reclamation, and Power Seraya Combined Cycled Power Plants.

The representative from Samsung C&T visited Halfen Moment office in Singapore last year to officially signed the Global Partnership Agreement. By collaborating with one of the biggest players in Asia, we can build a brighter and promising future in the construction industry.

Halfen Moment is a proud titanium sponsor for Singapore Concrete Institute (SCI) 2019 held at Swissôtel The Stamford, Singapore. The annual event gathers multiple companies for a fun and enjoyable evening between Halfen Moment and all the affiliated guests.

SCI 2019 was officiated by the Director of HDB’s Centre of Excellence for Environmental Sustainability Research, Mr Tan Sze Tiong and welcoming speech by Halfen Moment Sales & Marketing Director, Ms June Ng.

The event was initiated with a speeches followed by a mini game, award presentation, stage games and magic show with aims to further connect representatives from all the companies present.

Amazing time at University of Malaya, where Halfen Moment signed a MoA with the World’s 15th Best Engineering Faculty of UM. The cooperation will focus on R&D of new building technologies and building talent capacity in the civil engineering area.

A big industrial player like Halfen Moment working closely together with the University fits exactly in one of the core values – Teamwork – of our company which was expressed in the speech of Rob van Haaren – Managing Director of Halfen Moment Group as well during the ceremony. This cooperation is a long term journey and will raise the bar, not only for students but as well as the building community.

The MOU was signed by Rob Van Haaren and Datuk Ir. (Dr.) Abdul Rahim Hashim – Vice Chancellor, University of Malaya signed on behalf of University Malaya. With this MoA, we look forward for more important engineering discoveries and technological breakthroughs.

Before the ceremony ended, KC Loh – Technical Manager of Halfen Moment took advantage of this opportunity to introduce our products and services to Datuk Ir. (Dr.) Abdul Rahim Hashim in accordance to Moment values of Ownership.

Construction is becoming more and more a dynamic and challenging industry, this collaboration provides us with unlimited opportunities and driving force behind our strategy for innovation. Building on the knowledge and research from University Malaya’s graduates and postgraduates, we hope to provide the building industry with new and better solutions in order to speed up efficiency in construction.

Hume Concrete is one of the largest manufacturer of precast concrete products in Malaysia. We at Halfen Moment welcomed 20 Hume Concrete’s employees for a half day visit at our factory, which gave them the opportunity to have a detailed tour around the state-of-the-art headquarters of the Halfen Moment Group. 

With our professional engineers, the sessions started with product briefing led by Gary Connah – Halfen Moment Singapore’s Managing Director and a factory visit led by KC Loh – Technical Manager.

The factory visit included an exclusive guided tour around our office and factory, the group has the opportunity to observed the process of rebar threading, duct manufacturing and understanding the wide range of our innovative construction accessories portfolio.

Among our representatives include, Rob Van Haaren – Halfen Moment Group’s Managing Director, June Ng – Sales & Marketing Director and Hafiz Othman – Design Engineer.

This factory visit is yet another opportunity for Hume Concrete to become first hand witnesses of the cutting-edge manufacturing process and stringent quality controls practiced, which will give them the confidence to build their future success with Halfen Moment. It was an enriching and knowledgeable experience where we discussed how our new products provides the endless possibilities for the precast concrete structure.
