We welcome the introduction of the Modern Slavery Act and supports fully all efforts to combat any abuse of human rights.
The Modern Slavery Act was introduced in 2015 and applies to all businesses that operate in Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, and India. We are required to produce an annual slavery and trafficking statement.
We are a part of the global building materials group CRH plc that employs approximately 87,000 people at almost 3,800 locations worldwide. We abide by the guiding principles of business set out in the CRH Code of Business Conduct; a copy of this document is available on request.
