Project Description
Located in a seismic zone, the Jakarta Annex Centre Phase 1 is a landmark development in Indonesia requiring strict compliance with international structural safety standards. The bored pile foundation system demanded mechanical splices that could not only perform reliably under dynamic loads, but also speed up installation on a high-volume site. To meet these challenges, Leviat supplied over 20,000 units of Moment JT Couplers (size 32) for use with Grade 520 rebar.

The project used the Type B Coupler, which allows the coupler itself to rotate during assembly, ideal for complex or confined construction environments where rebar cannot be turned.
